Who says????
Who says Pits can't have fun like other dogs? Bridget and Buddy running thru the wet sand on the lake :) It was a good time :)
I just want to add..... this is NOT a dog she grew up with or anything of the sort. She went to meet Buddy 2 days prior to our trip, just to be sure before going all the way there.... aside from Buddy's cranky old man attitude..... they got along great :)

LOL What a great action shot you have there Ang. And Buddy is in the lead! ROFAO
Question? Why happened to Gypsy's Story??? All of our links to her page have gooblygook on them.
Oh heck...I dunno... I'll check all of the links tonight...it may have moved.
Thanx for the heads up... the links are fixed :)
Your photo art work is awesome! I love the way you make them your "own". Bridget has a great website too! Ruby is just adorable too. I believe she'll be a great friend for Bridget. Sometimes that's all we need, just a friend to show us that it's ok.
Thanx :)
Getting Ruby has been the best thing to happen to Bridget. It has changed the way she interacts with people. She no longer treats the kids like puppies, and she has someone who can play as rough as she needs to. You can't get an elephant, and then expect them to play with a mouse ;)
I still wonder.... if a lot of the problems with Pit Bulls don't come from the fact that they are expected to, and treated as solitary creatures.
Bridget is shy by nature, and this makes her "appear" solitary to the onlooker. But in reality, she thrives on human and animal interaction and affection. She may not be as touchy-feely as the next dog.... but she certainly needs her time with the pack to feel content.
